Sweet.
Nice intro. Made me believe it was going to be good. Bass drops were well placed and worked hot with the PSO style drums. The drums do kick a bit to much. This track is kind of cool I must say. The panning although iffy worked well when it happened. It seems very cool as a top with all the mechanical sounds. It was very entertaining. It was fly as hell. I was actually kind of in the feel with it. Once it took on the persona of video game music it just didn't need to have a form anymore. And man that bass drop is tight. The sound effects are also well placed. The chords are very respective of the track nice.
Plus
(+)Steady beat that was cool as hell.
(+) & (-) The ending was a good idea. But it seemed to take to long.
(+)Drums were nice.
Minus
(-)Other percussion just wasn't on par.
(-)Bleeps seemed loud sometimes...like at 1:00 the high note was. A bit annoying.
I mean what is this? A Mister Game & Watch song? Im curious where'd you get this from.
(-)It just didn't seem to have a melody. But it tried to have one.
(-)The 2 & 4 beat are expressed very clearly. I didn't like the choice of snare.

So.
So in theory all you did. Was take a song and speed it up. How creative.
Well, no, each instrument was recorded separately. It's just another version of another piece and it took a lot of effort to make. Yes, the piece isn't original, but neither are remixes/remakes of other tunes - this is just another one of those.
Jazz. I suppose.
First the echo bottles you used I think generally was a bad choice. They just didn't sound very good echoing every second of the song. Well this song definitely isn't bad. It was actual a pretty nice track. I didn't really like the panning at all. I just felt unbalanced. You don't have to attack one of my ears to make me notice something. The sax or whatever that was seemed to lack alot of emotion. In general though the piece was kind of funky. I thought the percussion didn't really hold itself up very well. If all the melodies were dropped from the song I don't know how engaging the percussion itself would be. Sounds like something someone would beebox* up. Piano in general was ok but for some reason the chords didn't flow into eachother very well. Arrangement itself seemed kind of questionable as things dropped in and out at random.
Plus-
(+)Themes are very nice. Chords are pronounced well.
+Guitar is very well done. Carries the song nicely with it's Jazz Chords and soulful clicks.
+Echo bells actually have a nice dip to them. Whatever the hell that means.
+Generally ok solos. Nothing fantastic. Not a minus though.
Negative-
(-)The sound choice for me was very entertaining.
(-)the panning is just...it feels unbalanced.
(-)ending.
(-)chords don't flow early on. And later seem very generic in execution.
(-)Transitions.
(-)Sometimes feels crowed without much balance highlighted what should be heard.
(-)Echo bell was...a uninspired choice.
(-)The song never builds upwards. It drops things but never soars to something greater.

another...WF1 track..
Dude this offbeat nonsense it really weird and i'll never understand the reason for it. The preset FL sounds are also very uninspiring. Normally I would take away for lack of sound quality but these FL sounds can sound much better. It's not a lack of quality it's a lack of execution. This again is very untouching. ...it's just dead. It's dead music. 2:26 or so was just bad how everything dropped in all at once. You know. It wasn't very good. Not at all. But hey whatever I guess i couldn't do better. Mr. Best Track.
True dat, another WF1 track! Glad ya noticed! hey thanks again for the honosty and all the great comments here. I'll remember to learn from it!
zzzZZZ (snooze)
Yet none of them seem to have any real sense of "WOW" to them. I never once ask how'd he make that! I could never do that! In general for whatever reason you choose offbeat things to happen and very preset sounds that don't generally sound very good to eachother. I can tell that you use preset FL sounds. Your music seems to lack basic things like form and a heartbeat. The single most important thing. A heartbeat. For whatever reason you choose to take that beat away and therefore I just can't enjoy it. It's just really random dude. In a bad way. I can't see myself listening to this again. It just never clicked even with itself. Hell it didn't even have chord changes...it was boring, and lifeless.
well i guess wow is all in how ya look at it hah. Again, thanks for the review and being honost =)
I don't know.
Well i listened all the way. But the melody never had emotion. I guess that's a matter of opinion. But in general it had some kind of strange effect that kind of made it seem a little out of tune at times. At about 1:00 or so when the chords could have RnB style enticed me they didn't because the melody seemed strangely untuned just a bit from the rest. Also the transitions didn't flow to smoothly at times and some the trances seemed to battle a bit and not really help eachother. In general I would do something about the effect of that once trance sound that leads because it seems just messes things up. Well it was a nice track though. I think the general composition needs some work in order to control the melody better. It seems to climax at the wrong times and than just barely make it to the finish. Sooooo it's a best track though.
Thanks a lot for the review. I'm always learning new things, so i love the full honestly =D. Yeah i may or may not fix this up and resubmit it. haha probably not cause i'm working on like 4 or 5 different projects as of now.
Thanks for the review

Why give it a tempo?
Whow. This is just basic. Basic. Man. A techno fill with some chords doing a very repetive fill throughout. With strange offbeats. But I guess if you like that. Whatever. I didn't like the offbeat. It actually kind of made me angry that it didn't predictably place it self on beat. Also the bells just needed some reverb or something. They just sounded like a preset hitting every other measure or so or whatever. Most of these song is off the beat makes me wonder why it even has a tempo. The percussion was just all kinds of lacking emotion or feel. They just hit with eachother very generic-like. They are indeed just a generic fill that could be placed about anywhere until they get off beat. Also the unbalance is. You know what just whatever dude. Best track. Better than I could do so. Go ahead and do this. Whatever.
hmm basic? ok i'll see what i can do in future works to change things up a little again thanks for the review man i appreceate honosty!
Whatever.
The panning of the drop for me was bad. And it seemed unbalanced at times. Also the theme at the start seemed to go forever up until the almost-transitions. The song there got no more intresting and in general seemed to lack things. Possibly saws or something. It beats like techno and the melodics sound like techno but it lacks parts that keep techno intresting. I was bored after awhile with the melody that almost seemed random sometimes. And the chord changes were even more so pretty much just going up than once or twice down to start over. Very uninspiring. I dont know man. You could have done* ^^^^ that much better. The song really has no ending or point of climax either. Oh well. This song seems to fall where it needs to stand. It was ok.
To be honest, when I read your review, I kind of have the feeling you didn't listen to the whole song.
It has a climax. I am not going to tell you where it is, it's too obvious for that.
And to say that the song doesn't have any variation in it seems a bit to far for me. It's true that I use the main theme a lot, but I use it in many different ways.
Still, I value your opinion. I will keep it in mind for my next songs.
Thanks for the review!
