Alright.

Parappa the Rappa. Is what this sounds like. The panning you did here is very awkward. Also. Being unbalanced is something that drives my ears crazy. And this panning here does just that. The solo's seem very ill conceived and uninspired. Nonetheless it's funky. The chord changes(matter of preference) really never intrigues me. They're pretty good earlier on but the change-ups chords are kind of cheesy and really generic of this genre. Nice track though. I'd maybe do something with the panning unless it's something you truly must have. I for one just don't like unbalance. Good music mind though.

Thanks for the review. And yes, I was experimenting on Mixcraft to see what I could do with it so this was one of those pieces of turds that managed to settle out of there. No worries though, I'll be making more decent ones soon.

Sounds sad.

Well i would have probably enjoyed it. If it keep a steady tempo and stayed in tune. It had a good melodic line though from what I could here. I don't know man it was ok.

good times, bad times

Bad Mix.

The preset pianos were just a bad way to go here. In general every sound was a bad choice. I've never heard the original but as a capcom song I'm sure it was synthed. I don't man it sounds unbalanced your lower piano is really loud and there's no significant drum fill to hold this up. It sounds really young and unorganized...

knuxrouge responds:

Wow man, harsh. After all the hard work I did on this, I get this kind of review. If this is your opinion, then some tips on improvement would have softened the blow. In any case thank for you honesty Simon.

Let's See.

Well I sure hate to review good songs. But oh well. I like the entire thing. Around 3:33 when the chords move up a bit it's really fly and the bells hit nicely. This is really good....i guess that's why it's top 5...

Rig responds:

Hey, thanks man! The "bells" is actually a piano, by the way.
It never was top 5. Actually, I've never been in the top 5. Ah well...someday.
Thanks for the review!

Well.

Don't really know what she saying. It sounds clear and she sounds good. So I can only give it a ten and a 5 otherwise it's not very fair to her.

Rig responds:

She'll be thrilled, haha
Thanks, man!

Didn't enjoy it.

It really seemed to lacked some major components of music. A defined form and some transitional work. Also it sounded overly preset and weird. The snares don't fit it very well at times and the main vocal sound throughout it seems to get overdone. Towards the center of the song I tired of the buzz that implodes and comes back out. The kicks also seemed random. Sometimes. Overall I didn't like it very much.

....its not an actuel song just somthing i thought would kinda drone on in the back of a menu screen...seeing as a lot of submisions a used in flashes an that

House* Love it.

I love house music. I really like the chord changes but I felt the piano should have reverbed more and been an octave higher. They just grit down this low. This is really groovy though. Except at times your bell leaves the key about half step and sounds dissonant. I would like into it and adjust it about a half-step in the respective direction. Also I found it very odd that you put the entire song out of tune. It's not in a natural key so you can't duplicate it on a piano. Strange choice but as long as it's all that way it's fine i suppose. Maybe that's why your bells have dissonance. I'm not sure. But it was a pretty groovy tune. I like it man. Keep it up. Check that dissonance it really sounds about a half-step off to me.

Nightheaven responds:

-An octave Higher seems too high to me :-)
-As for the reverber, yes maybe I'll increase it
-I didn't compose this song to play it on a piano,it's just an house song,I don't think it's a real matter.
-At last,i didn't find a real dissonance, but if you want send me a pm and tell me some (or all) the parts where you find this problem
Anyway thanks for the review,I really appreciated your collaboration!

Bluegrass??

Seriously? I don't even know how to review this. So whatever. I didn't like it. It didn't have a form.

WolfBlitz2 responds:

yeah I think I'll change the genre later when i think which is best for it
when i was learning blue grass that was the first song I was taught
you sure it isn't blue grass?
Should I place it under Techno instead? :D
Or under house? XD

Piano=Preset.

Sounds exactly like a preset FL piano with a small reverb on it. Not really sure what game this is bout you should reverb it more since it's your only sound it needs to fill itself up. It was ok I guess.

uten responds:

at least it sounds better then on my first version
