Deep.

This is very ambient. It's feels good. The constant deep bass flowing is very nice. The pianos are to very enticing. I've never heard something like this before with ambience and DrumNBass. Kind of the best of both worlds. I think the quality of some of the drums and such could have been higher to give a clearer sound because even though I like it generally the bass overpowers the ambiance alot when it's there. Otherwise it was very cool. The chord changes are very distinct and clear although you could still futher pronounce them when the piano rips are flowing as I can't seem to find the bass note in every chord to highlight it. Good nonetheless.

Plus---13
(+)Nice intro. Love the bells.
(+)The DrumNBass side is very pronounced. Nice.
(+)It just sounds creepy and cool as hell.

Minus---5
(-)Some of the transitions could have been better. The intro one particularly just seems to drop the drums in.
(-)Balance. I think because of some of the quality it sounds muffled at times when the drums are in and overpower the melodies.
(-)I wish it was clearer.
(-)The ending. Too simple for it's own good. I don't know what exactly I didn't like but forsure I didn't like how it just stopped on that one note. And such. Maybe a fade or some kind of moving pads at the end highlighting the chord changes as it ends kind of crying to the end. "Wahh WAHH Wahhh WAHh" you know something like that.
(-)1:41 or such just seem to lose alot for me. It seemed random almost in execution and seemed to die compared to the rest. Matter of preference i suppose but. Still a minus...

Final Score = 8 "Flow, taken, Farewell."

right the drum break i know what you're talking .. to be honest the only reason i even made this song was so a friend of mine could make a stepfile for stepmania .. he wanted something with alot of drums and insanity. Your review is amazing just as suspended's was .. i really enjoy reviews like this.

So.

So in theory all you did. Was take a song and speed it up. How creative.

ke200 responds:

Well, no, each instrument was recorded separately. It's just another version of another piece and it took a lot of effort to make. Yes, the piece isn't original, but neither are remixes/remakes of other tunes - this is just another one of those.

another...WF1 track..

Dude this offbeat nonsense it really weird and i'll never understand the reason for it. The preset FL sounds are also very uninspiring. Normally I would take away for lack of sound quality but these FL sounds can sound much better. It's not a lack of quality it's a lack of execution. This again is very untouching. ...it's just dead. It's dead music. 2:26 or so was just bad how everything dropped in all at once. You know. It wasn't very good. Not at all. But hey whatever I guess i couldn't do better. Mr. Best Track.

wyldfyre1 responds:

True dat, another WF1 track! Glad ya noticed! hey thanks again for the honosty and all the great comments here. I'll remember to learn from it!

zzzZZZ (snooze)

Yet none of them seem to have any real sense of "WOW" to them. I never once ask how'd he make that! I could never do that! In general for whatever reason you choose offbeat things to happen and very preset sounds that don't generally sound very good to eachother. I can tell that you use preset FL sounds. Your music seems to lack basic things like form and a heartbeat. The single most important thing. A heartbeat. For whatever reason you choose to take that beat away and therefore I just can't enjoy it. It's just really random dude. In a bad way. I can't see myself listening to this again. It just never clicked even with itself. Hell it didn't even have chord changes...it was boring, and lifeless.

wyldfyre1 responds:

well i guess wow is all in how ya look at it hah. Again, thanks for the review and being honost =)

I don't know.

Well i listened all the way. But the melody never had emotion. I guess that's a matter of opinion. But in general it had some kind of strange effect that kind of made it seem a little out of tune at times. At about 1:00 or so when the chords could have RnB style enticed me they didn't because the melody seemed strangely untuned just a bit from the rest. Also the transitions didn't flow to smoothly at times and some the trances seemed to battle a bit and not really help eachother. In general I would do something about the effect of that once trance sound that leads because it seems just messes things up. Well it was a nice track though. I think the general composition needs some work in order to control the melody better. It seems to climax at the wrong times and than just barely make it to the finish. Sooooo it's a best track though.

Dj-UnKnOwN responds:

Thanks a lot for the review. I'm always learning new things, so i love the full honestly =D. Yeah i may or may not fix this up and resubmit it. haha probably not cause i'm working on like 4 or 5 different projects as of now.
Thanks for the review

Why give it a tempo?

Whow. This is just basic. Basic. Man. A techno fill with some chords doing a very repetive fill throughout. With strange offbeats. But I guess if you like that. Whatever. I didn't like the offbeat. It actually kind of made me angry that it didn't predictably place it self on beat. Also the bells just needed some reverb or something. They just sounded like a preset hitting every other measure or so or whatever. Most of these song is off the beat makes me wonder why it even has a tempo. The percussion was just all kinds of lacking emotion or feel. They just hit with eachother very generic-like. They are indeed just a generic fill that could be placed about anywhere until they get off beat. Also the unbalance is. You know what just whatever dude. Best track. Better than I could do so. Go ahead and do this. Whatever.

wyldfyre1 responds:

hmm basic? ok i'll see what i can do in future works to change things up a little again thanks for the review man i appreceate honosty!

Whatever.

The panning of the drop for me was bad. And it seemed unbalanced at times. Also the theme at the start seemed to go forever up until the almost-transitions. The song there got no more intresting and in general seemed to lack things. Possibly saws or something. It beats like techno and the melodics sound like techno but it lacks parts that keep techno intresting. I was bored after awhile with the melody that almost seemed random sometimes. And the chord changes were even more so pretty much just going up than once or twice down to start over. Very uninspiring. I dont know man. You could have done* ^^^^ that much better. The song really has no ending or point of climax either. Oh well. This song seems to fall where it needs to stand. It was ok.

Hadriani responds:

To be honest, when I read your review, I kind of have the feeling you didn't listen to the whole song.

It has a climax. I am not going to tell you where it is, it's too obvious for that.
And to say that the song doesn't have any variation in it seems a bit to far for me. It's true that I use the main theme a lot, but I use it in many different ways.

Still, I value your opinion. I will keep it in mind for my next songs.

Thanks for the review!

Well.

Generally it wasn't very intresting. The piano doesn't do very much for the chord changes the song holds. The basis of it is just rather boring. The 1-3 hits of it are just very repetitive. For the most part it sounds very preset with some effects thrown in for good measure. The delays on the piano were just. Lacking any real reason. It didn't make it more interesting it just made it double boring. Form wise it just seemed to chug along and overall had some iffy balance that didn't seem quite right at times. The beginning was for the most part the only good part. Otherwise I'd never listen to this more than once. It doesn't build to a climax and has no true transitions. Not even a cymbal or to. Well actually it has no percussion. Odd choice but respectable. So no percussion means no transitions or very hard transitions(only one noticable is the toms at the start-best part). But this includes neither. This song needs alot of work it in general lacks plenty of things. Plenty I just mentioned the obvious.

wyldfyre1 responds:

Hmm repetitive eh? yeah i'll do what i can to learn from these and work on the sounds on this. I've defenatly been looking for other stuff then the preset crap on the programs i'm using. Sooooo who knows maybe one day i'll wow ya! Again thanks for the review man!

Well.

Ok. I suppose. These themes are really best as what they are. They seem very shallow and empty for the most part. As you only seem to highlight the main melodies off them. Although all these pieces contain various harmonies. You selected on the top melody to represent which well as I said makes them seem very shallow when you do that. The mixes need more depth instead of a slight representation of them. Sometimes it seems like the equivalent of putting percussion over someone humming the theme. That's the true issue with them. It also seems to lack any real bass depth but I think that's all one problem. There's a no true background happening. The only time the bass is "bassy" is when it's really loud and than the saws are just blazing and getting crazy. So add some depth man. There's more to these pieces than melodies. It was alright though. Nice mix but it's missing parts.

Nintechno responds:

once again, its was a mix of 3 songs. I wanted to keep the time down instead of having a 10minuit monster. Also, i always have complaints about my bass, so if anyone can help me there, a PM is all it takes...

Just doing music like always...
