Well since you were bored.

I won't review this to much or dip into to much. It was entertaining man. You really grabbed a bunch of random sounds with this one man. I'mma give it a ten just because your cool!?

What I think.

The intro was pretty long man. But otherwise fine. Really have to kick up your intro into the kicks. Your using a classic style of introduction to songs where you place a piece ontop of a piece. Overall a pretty snoozy intro. The bass comes and the chord progression isn't exactly where it needs to sit. The balance goes a lil crazy too when the strings come in crazy loud and hitting a pretty loud 3rd. But it was fine. I would suggest instead of your current form of Intro-Intro w/kick-bassfill/kick you use something more traditional. It bring up the actual overall quality. Possibly radio form as hip/hop tends to do. Your kind of doing trance form now. Intro-Chorus-Verse-Chorus-Verse-Outro . I do like the diversity of the background sounds such as the deep blips and such. Overall it was pretty good. Work on your form and you definitely got something going. Nice fade at the end as well. Keep it up man.

Thanks for the review. At least I know what to work on now.

Fly.

Fly ass loop. Nice man. I really don't ever have anything to say about loops so cool man.

Alright.

This is a nice beat right here. I got to say. It's nice. Now it's a nice lil verse you got going and the chord progressions got a nice flow to them. At 1:06 when the hats slow down I kinda lost my beat a little bit. I probably wouldn't have slowed them down to a 1 2 3 4 like that and would kept them running eighths. Some of the balance at times seems well off like. At time the strings seem to drown out the melody and they even swallow the horns a lil bit. Seems like you got a nice inside flow to it. It's nice though. Possibly do a lil something to the balance and whatnot but other than that it's nice though. Major-Sounding hip hop beats like this are rather hard to make. I applaud you man. And you could do some kind of ending if you want to. And the snare at the intro was a bit simple in texture just a simple -hit-hit- . It's cool though. I'll give you a 5 though. Bettter than a lot of hiphop tracks on here.

Alright this is nice.

This piano is super nice man. Very good arrangement on it. Even the strings at 1:00 were nice. The chord progressions in this track are very nice. The snare is kind of low but you know ok. The bass drum is even kind of soft. Like I can't really hear it out of my subwoofers. None the less this is a nice beat. Man keep it up.

S-Rock responds:

Hey, The real version of this song Is at my myspace. Its Less Filtered. More Umph.

We can see.

Since somebody else made the beat I aint gone just leave to much about it. But the lyrics go hard though. Nuttin to say bout really.

passionboom responds:

good looks..yea im not really a beat maker but i can spit so thats wat i do...good looks on the comment

Aight.

Damn I didn't even know we could use samples on NG. But it's nice though. Good percussion and such. Imma five it playa just to push the zero haters off.

"Well let's get this going."

Intro

0:00.00-0:30.00 : Fly. As Hell. The chain synth rips perfectly bubbling the song into play. Well done. Deep intro and very nice snare on the 2 & 4 and the pulse by the background synth. Love the dynamics and the constant it builds into a pretty solid kick. (Not quite bassy enough for my taste). 9/10

Intro 2
Kept me in my seat rocking out waiting to see what would happen next. Pretty identical to the intro of the song so not to much to say. I guess not to much to rant about here because it's pretty flawless from here. For good synth control and a good cymbal and overall good percussion keeping the beat real nice.

BreakDown 1: 1:25:00

Sexy as hell. The pads and strings flow extremely smooth here. The transition itself though was very fishy. It was dynamically correct but it just kind of dropped a bit to suddenly for my taste. Just a bit to suddenly but you definitely make up for that a bit later. Very good. At times it sound dissonant like around 1:36 where the lower strings seem to clash with the top sounds making me kind of ehhhhh away a little bit but not to much. I repeats itself when it loops back around to that but with the snyth covering it I never hear it to much anymore. But it definitely feels dissonant.
At around 1:57 it picks the trance back up and sways nicely with the strings backgrounding it. This is a fly ass song man. 8/10

Part Damn(Rebirth): 2:25.00

Whew this right here is crazy tight. Once it builds for about 5 seconds and the reverb drum hits in explosion and the synth blazes in on the 3& 4 & I almost starting raving in my room. It was to nice. This is the part of the song where I just zoned out and have nothing to say here. Well let me stop lieing, Some of the balance got pretty crazy here. The drums and bass seems to just overkill the melody. Nothing an equalizer wouldn't fix but it still overdrafting the really fly melody you have here. And those strings in the back! They just sound dissonant for some reason! I don't why though. This part is still crazy good though for me it's my favorite section. Just do a lil bit with the balance here. Good otherwise.

Catching the Breath: 3:20.00

Damn I love that buzz that concaves than zooms out to transition. SEXY! This part is another one of those parts thats just relaxing and dreaming out. Possibly a samurai battle going on who knows. What I didn't like here was the "christmas jingle bells." They seemed rather loud particularly because I really don't like hearing them. They really stick out too. Kind of a bump in a rather smooth road for me. The "organ drip" is pretty spicy here doing a really good job of holding it all together until the buzzes and synths pick it back up around 4:00. And a smooth trip. 7/10

"Tokyo, He's not playing." 4:20.00

The drip drops here that flip into a trance is amazing in depth and technique. I'm not sure if it's a preset that did this or what but it was stunning. The strings in the background do a really good job of singing. And hold this perfect ball you wrapped right up until the percussion rears its face again. That's at 4:48 when the beat drops back in and is pretty much my favorite beat going here. Now these chord progressions here and good up until 5:00 and beyond were it turns all happy and such and leaves the original sinister chords you had and that pretty much continues until the end of the song. My least enjoyable part but the transition at 5:15 was like the one at the beginning really sudden and such but it was good even still. From here it continues it's trancing until we come to the close. 8/10

~Fin~ 6:37.01 Nice re-use of the theme from earlier. Fly as hell.

Overall Take 0:00.00-6:49.01

A smooth ass trance song with about a half a dozen themes to keep the interest level high. This was highly professional in its execution and ill to listen to. I pretty much loved every second of it. Very good trance deserving of it's title as a best track in the portal. Definitely I honestly agree with that. Good job man. The effort here is great. Fly as hell. 9/10

Hmm interesting!?

I didn't like it all that much. The pads in the back never seem to combine well with the melodies. But as for what it's suppose to be it's good. So for the sake of helping you score get even higher I'll give it a 5. But for me it's about a 4. Good arrangement skillz. Nice.

Just doing music like always...
